Spiritual Art Classes
October & November 2010
Monday evenings from 7:00 pm – 9:30 pm.

The focus will be going deep inside of yourself and allowing the beauty that is there to come forth in your art works. I will give you specific exercises and subjects to explore. By using a specific beginning and an ending process so you are clear when you start and are renewed when you finish. I will facilitate discussion of individual creative processes and visual development. You will find it easier to manifest when you use some of my techniques. These classes will be exciting and stimulating for you.

4 – 7 student classes
$35 / class
$140 / month
$250 for both months [save $30]

Collage Workshops – one day

Collage II: Focus upon 3 dimensional collages. Saturday November 13th 2010

Collage is such a wonderful media. It is like a gathering process from all parts of your life and the world. Then you decide how to put it all together. Do you cut or tare, glue or paste? It is the attaching, the pasteing that allows you to cherish it for more than a month. I will teach you how to apply archival glue so that it stays flat and together for decades.

4 – 8 student classes
$110 / workshop
$200 / both workshops [save $20]

*Please see gallery on my website for collages.

Printing Without a Press I
Printing Without a Press is designed for artists and non-artists with limited access to printing presses, and for those just jumping into the printmaking processes. You will learn to create monoprints by applying ink with a brush or roller to a plastic or metal plate, laying wet paper over it and then pressing the surfaces together in order to transfer the image to paper.
This workshop covers an array of techniques for achieving various monoprint results including color printing, ghost prints, embossing, and printing with water based inks. A variety of tools will be demonstrated for textures and drawing, as well as several printing methods.

Printing Without a Press II
This workshop will further evolve the concepts covered in Printing Without a Press I and cover registration, metallic inks, and chine colle.
