Hecho en Mazatlán/Made is Mazatlán is a group exhibition of prints created in the Mazatlán, Mexico studio of Glen Rogers from 2007 thru 2009. The show represents an international group of 36 artists from Mexico, United States, Canada, Australia, and Europe. The work is diverse, ranging from abstract to realism, and shows a full spectrum of the monotype process.

Barbara Milman and Maryly Snow are 2 of the 24 artists in the WEAD 15th anniversary exhibit at JFK’s Art and Consciousness Gallery in Berkeley. Barbara is showing her “Coral Ghosts” in 3 different media: a large linocut tryptych, a standing sculpture of printed paper on plexi and coral, and a large artist book with stunningly visual layout of color, text and graph lines of real data about coral health and death. Maryly is showing prints from her “Ways of Seeing” series, two “Beautiful Bad” atomic bomb pieces, and one from the larger Polar series.
A panel discussion on Friday June 11th will focus on the importance of environmental art and artists in today’s culture. The exhibit runs through June 12th.
